Sing praises to the sea Sing praises to the sea sing praise, you and me Praises to the thunder Praises to the rain Sing praise beyond the name Feet upon the ground Our heads well in the sky Praise through the tears we've cried One step into a dream Sacred portal, all blessings gathering Praises to the sea Praises to the sea Sing praise, you and me Where all life was born And how we carry on Where all life was born And where we will be gone Sing praises to the sea

I'll Be Gone 04:29
I was traveling' around the country, singing' my anti-fracking song In a club in Pennsylvania about to go on The owner came over and got right up in my face Don't sing that song boy, not in my place I said, don’t you know your state is gonna wind up poor When the corporation's done with you, they'll just walk out the door First they took your lumber and then they took your coal By the time they get your gas, they'll probably have your soul He looked at me, like I was the dumbest thing he'd ever seen He said, 'I already leased my land to the Gas Company I'm drivin' a BMW and livin' it up in my new home And by the time it hits the fan, I figure…I'll be gone. CHORUS: he was singing' I'll be gone, you'll be gone (He was singing' our Country's saddest song) Everything is fine as long as I get mine and By the time it hits the fan, I'll be gone Everybody's talkin' 'bout global climate change So much blah blah blah it's hurtin' my brain Scientist get paid to agree with the man Confusin' us, keepin' us from doin' what we can And those Wall Street tycoons got a big idea They could sell us lies as long as the lies were totally unclear Tell 'em 'this don't seem right', they say 'you got it all wrong' And by the time we for sure, they figure…they'll be gone and they're singing': I'll be gone, you'll be gone (They are singing' our Country's saddest song) Everything is fine as long as I get mine and By the time it hits the fan, I'll be gone Now our governor, Mr. Cuomo could stop frackin' in our State There's still time for truth and to put on the breaks He's no dummy, he knows the danger, but no stranger to the greed Risking precious New York water, for no good reason and no need He thinks he knows where his interests lie He could fight the corporation, but he just won't try He thinking' about the white house and movin' on by the time it hits the fan, he figures…he'll be gone. CHORUS: he is singing' I'll be gone, you'll be gone (He's belting' out our Country's saddest song) Everything is fine as long as I get mine and By the time it hits the fan, I'll be gone By the time it hits (it's a sad song) By the time it hits (goes on and on) By the time it hits the fan (just get out here now) (we got work to do) (and the way i see it, we don't need you) It's already hitting' the fan, please be gone.
